About the College Basketball Belt

The College Basketball Belt tracks the lineal championship of men's college basketball: one title, passed from team to team only by beating whoever holds it. It's the sister site of the College Football Belt, which has tracked the same idea in college football since 1869, and part of the Belt Holders network, which does it for the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB.

The site is independent and fan-run. It isn't affiliated with the NCAA, any conference or any school. School names are used only to identify the teams.
